Access Denied or unable to access my website or email

If you experience any problems with connecting to your website or email it might be that your IP address is blocked by the firewall on the server your website and email is hosted on.

The first step to take to find out where the problem is would be to use an online service like Down For Everyone Or Just Me to see if your website is really down or not available.
If the website returns that the site is working you can be reasonably sure your IP address is blocked by the firewall.

To unblock your IP address,

         If you can access Exewebs.com

  • log into your client portal on exelwebs.com
  • On the menu look under "Support" you will find a link "Unblock IP Address"
  • Your IP address will be automatically detected and inserted into the field
  • Click the "Check for IP Block and Remove" button.
  • It might take a while for the results to come back
  • Once done it will tell you if your IP address was blocked and why

If you can not access Exewebs.com
  • Try to log in from a different device that is not using the same internet connection as the blocked device.
i.e. if your pc connect via wifi your use mobile device to connect via your mobile data provider to access exelwebs.com
  • from the blocked device load this website to find your blocked IP address and make a note of it somewhere.
  • on your mobile device, that you can access exelwebs.com from, enter the IP address in the field and click the "Check for IP Block and Remove" Button
  • It might take a while for the results to come back
  • Once done it will tell you if your IP address was blocked and why
If all else fails, submit a support ticket for assistance making sure to include the affected IP address as part of the support ticket.
